Protective Information
This section of ProFemDefense.com features articles concerning the various aspects of personal protection with an emphasis to female personal protection.

Crime has been down recently across the country but there is still plenty to go around. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, one woman in four will become a victim of crime in her lifetime. Workplace violence is still the leading cause of female death in the workplace. Sexual assault and sexual abuse are still fairly common.

The police will do what they can to protect you but they definitely will not be at your crime scene when it happens to you. If they were, the crime wouldn’t take place. Criminals like privacy. They know that observation increases their chances of being caught. Before you are attacked, you will be observed, stalked, and evaluated to see if you are the type of victim the criminal desires. They are looking for victims, not challenges. They are especially not looking for challenges that are likely to hurt them or get them arrested. If you appear to be strong and alert, they will look elsewhere.

We are here to help you convince them to look elsewhere. Personal protection is a continuing process that will last the rest of your life. To be effective, you must constantly strive to observe more, to learn more, and to operate through life more effectively from a defense standpoint. You must learn to detect threats to your safety, avoid them when you can, and repel them when you cannot. The articles that will be coming to this page, plus the products offered on this site, will help you do this.
